Really important for your dogs health is his/hers mental well being. Treats and chews provide
opportunities to reward good practices and train your dog and also to allow them to relax and fulfil
their genetic desire to chew at food and actually work at it as they would in nature after a kill. I
recommend and use Bull Pizzles (You don't want to know which bit they come off!) They are really chewy
and your dog will take ages to work through them. They do stink a bit though! Pigs ears and rawhide are
also great chews for dogs. Use the training treats regularly at first to encourage specific behaviour
and then drop to a random reward pattern to maintain the same drive and desire for the training treat!
